We stopped off here on the way home from our day in the Yosemite National Park (a quick sidebar – if you’re ever anywhere near Yosemite, make a point of visiting. It’s well worth it and an amazing experience). The menu was great for the others – lots of burgers, sandwiches and the like, all very well priced. Sadly, there was no labelling on the menu here. I ended up getting a tri-tip (this is like a cut of rump, very tender and lovely, usually marinated – no idea what the marinades contain) salad without the soy vinaigrette dressing and it was a very nice fresh salad.
However, despite there being a huge range of burgers on the menu, there was no gluten-free option, and when I asked, they didn’t have any gluten-free bread with which to convert a burger. I really wanted a burger, or something other than a salad but it was not to be. I did snack on some fries, but they had seasoning on them which seemed likely to have flour in it. Sigh. Another day, another salad. At least I’m eating lots of vegetables.
